# Renor — plans and limits (agent plane)

`$10 / month` is the advertised price of Renor Pro; **Free to start** is the entry plan
("$10 / month" is the rendered form of `PRO_MONTHLY_PRICE_USD` in `src/lib/plans.ts`, the single
display source of truth for every amount this site may show).

One thing is worth stating precisely, because it is easy to get wrong:

1. **The displayed amount is not the charged amount.** The amount actually billed is a Stripe price
   object named by the `STRIPE_PRO_PRICE_ID` secret; Stripe prices are immutable and the figure is
   not in this repository. Changing the price means creating a NEW price object and pointing the
   secret at it, in the two-step order recorded in `docs/LAUNCH-OPERATIONS.md`. Nothing in code can
   detect the two disagreeing.

Signup is either open or gated, and the site's one call to action follows it: **Get started** when
`app_settings.signup_mode` is `open`, **Request access** when it is `waitlist`. Limits that are not
measured here are not stated here.
